On May 25, China State Shipbuilding Corporation's Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd. held the naming ceremony for the 50,000-ton MR product tanker "AMANDA," built for Japan's KUMIAI company, through a "cloud signing" event. The ceremony connected Tokyo, Copenhagen, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Shanghai. Attendees included KUMIAI President Mr. MUKAE, sponsor Ms. AMANDA ELIN MARIA ANDERSSON, StenaBulk Executive Director Mr. AAYUSH GIRI, KUMIAI Chief Operating Officer Mr. Rajeeva, Vice General Manager of China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Company Mr. WU Aijun, and Chengxi Shipyard Chairman Mr. LU Ziyou. The ceremony was hosted by Mr. ZHOU Jianxiang, Deputy General Manager of Chengxi Shipyard.
